Our utterly charming Citroen H van, Selina, is at the heart of what we do. We found her in a shed in the south of France, an unloved wreck, but it seems she has a glamorous history; registered in Paris in 1973 and owned by a bohemian bar owner, the likes of Serge Gainsbourg, Johnny Hallyday, Jane Birkin and Brigitte Bardot were said to have stepped through her doors. In later years she was used by a renowned baker (and philanderer) to deliver bread and amorous favours to remote Provencal villages. From baguettes to Indian flatbreads… now lovingly revamped as the Street Feast wagon, she never fails to beguile our customers wherever she goes.
